Around The World With Twelve Sports

2016 is going to be a great year in sports. Like always team StyleMelon have brought you a list of varied sports and varied location that a you would love to attend this year.

January : Tennis in Australia
Enjoy the New Year in Australia by watching the Australian open tennis at Melbourne from 18-31st January. Can Serena William and Novak Djokovic defend their title, or will Maria Sharapova and Roger Federer crash their party. Australia is famous for its beaches and sunshine.

February : NFL in USA
Catch third biggest sporting event in the world in American Football Superbowl 50 at San Francisco on 7th February. We are hoping to see rockstar Tom Brady win his fifth title. See the world famous Golden Gate and enjoy dinner at China town in San Francisco.
March : Chess in Russia
Watch Chess Candidate championship at Moscow Russia from 10-30 March. We hope that Viswanathan Anand can win this championship to challenge Magnus Carlsen. Enjoy Vodka and historic monuments like Saint Basil’s Cathedral at Moscow.

April : F1 in China
China will host one of the top event of the year in the Chinese Grand Prix at Shanghai from 15-17th April. Four time champion Sebastian Vettel will try to dethrone the current champ Lewis Hamilton. Shanghai is city that is keeping its old values and mixing with the new values like the Shanghai World Financial Centre to the Jade Buddha temple.
May : Champions League in Italy
The place of Fashion Milan, Italy is hosting this year Champions League final on 28th May. Can Barcelona can become the first team in the Champions League era to defend their title, or will Arsenal dash their hopes. The best place to shop luxury brand in the world from Armani to Dolce & Gabbana.

June : Dirt Biking in Denmark
Watch Speedway racing in Denmark on June 11th, where bikers from all over the world would be fighting to win the 2016 FIM Grand Prix of Denmark. Denmark is famous for book boat through Airbnb to become a Thor god and fight battle in an Arena.

July : Cycling in France
Witness the struggle between mind and body in the Tour de France from 2nd to 24th July. Cycling has not been the same since Lance Armstrong doping scandal, but this will be the first step to redemption. Check out the smallest, but the richest country in the world in Monaco, near the France border, and then enjoy a romantic evening at The Effiel tower.Tour-de-France
August : Olympics in Brazil
Witness the Biggest sporting event in the world, the Olympic Games at Rio Brazil from 5th to 21st August. Can Usain Bolt create history again, hopefully this won’t be the last time we see him. Check out the Christ the Redeemer and enjoy the beach party in Brazil.
September : Asian Games in Vietnam
Enjoy Asian beach games in relaxing Da Nang, Vietnam from 24th September to 3rd October. As in 2018, it will be on our very own Beach state of Goa. Enjoy the breath-taking landscape of Vietnam and enjoy the great cuisine in an affordable travel.
October : Rugby in New Zealand
If you missed the Rugby world cup final, you can catch the repeat when Australia travel to New Zealand to play match at Auckland on 22nd October. Enjoy the scenery and watch the best rugby team going head to head to win the Bledisloe Cup. Auckland is famous for yachting hence the name ‘City of Sails’ and the tallest building in the southern hemisphere in the The Sky tower.

November : Badminton in Hong Kong
Watch Saina Nehwal try to win Badminton Super series in Hong Kong at Hong Kong Open Badminton championship from 22-27 November. Saina Nehwal hopefully may have won herself a gold medal in Olympics. Enjoy the spiritualism in Hong Kong by visiting the biggest Buddha temple and eat out in the world famous floating restaurant of Jumbo Kingdom.
December : Cricket in South Africa
Celebrate the New Year at Port Elizabeth in South Africa watching Sri Lanka vs South Africa Test match from December 26 to 30th. Hopefully South Africa would have won their first world cup by winning T20 world cup. Enjoy water sports, wildlife attraction in the world’s ‘Friendly City’.
